Andeby Training Bible

Written by Andeby at 10:56 17/2-2023

Did used to track my all of my training projects, but stopped for a long time. Recently started logging again and backtracked out of curiousity and these are some of my findings:

50 trained riders, Clemens included but he isnt currently maxed. So slight upside, but the expensive training is mostly done, so it wont affect the numbers too much in this pool. TT-center isnt included in the training overalls, but its included in the training cost IF he was TT-centered at our team. Also all training costs are calculated with new prices but some of these were infact trained with the old regular prices.

  Avg Max: 45,8225
  Average training points: 125,82
  Total Talent Cost: 10 781 000
Average Talent Cost: 215 620 (3 academy riders with 40k talent cost)
  Total Training Cost: 11 043 350
  Average Training cost: 220 867
Total Talent and Training Cost: 21 824 350
Average Talent and Training Cost: 436 487

43 of these riders have been sold at various stages of their career, so this information is of limited value as some of them were late in their career, some of them early etc.
  These 43 riders had a total talent and training cost of 18 487 350. They were sold for 19 493 000, netting a profit of 1 000 650.

  Notable transfers:
Morlua was recently sold with a record profit of 639 000.
The legendary Adonis Lourenco was the previous record holder with a profit of 494 000 not including prize money.

Biggest losses are of course the failed supertalents which we have quite a few of. The biggest losses are recent as the talent prices have skyrocketed.
Dijksma: 230+ SP maxed after 95 points with a net loss of 668k.
Aranha: 220+ HLSP maxed after 77 points with a net loss of 425k.
Xiomar Impastato: 220+ SP maxed after 82 points with a net loss of 327k.
Darrel Pyles: 230+ SP maxed after 62 points with a net loss of 311k.
Helmuth Netzer: 230+ HLSP maxed after 62 points with a net loss of 270k.

Out of all the talents, they had the following potentials:
  2x 190+
  8x 200+
  22x 210+
11x 220+ (Xanxo among these with 290+ SARS)
  5x 230+
  2x 240+ (Hillclimber and CBer)

  19x TT talents
  10x Sprinters
  11x Climbers

Out of the 230+ and 240+ talents only Jedsada Pituwong and Zami Che Omar turned out well.

  Most notable trainees are:
  Adonis Lourenco
  Pierce Taggart (Essex winner)
Homero Carabali - SP Beast which was never utilized in top divs.
Baldwin Matthys - Won numerous GT stages, but never won the SC
Hadley Childers - Sprinting legend. #1 rider with GT SC and NLe to his name.
Gonzalo Xanxo - SARS legend with GT SC and NLe to his name.
Florian Everaerts - TT legend, #2 in S37 with numerous podiums in Essex and WC. Legend for both Andeby and Team Chili.

Morlua is also my record loss, at -1.1M give or take. I still like him though.

Team Formand United at 10:54 21/2-2023
A slightly high AV maxing overall, maybe? I always get so many early 40s like some do.

Australian Warlord at 23:58 19/2-2023
I assume you're joking with your comments Andeby. But yes, Holwerda's training quality sucks, the game knows it & saves the cyclists more training by maxing a couple extra low.

Holwerda Cycling at 12:53 18/2-2023
Hmm right, that is my problem lol.

Andeby at 11:32 18/2-2023
it is 60-180 tho. so the average is 120

Holwerda Cycling at 11:05 18/2-2023
Thanks, nothing on high potentials then it seems.
I would say my average would make more sense as is it the middle of 60 and 160. So I think you are really good at training and I am just an average manager :)

Andeby at 14:02 17/2-2023
Cant really complain, but obviously a high max on the 230 ones would be so big.

Andeby at 14:01 17/2-2023
  You made me look.
  200+ | 8 riders 126,75 average
  210+ | 22 riders 129,9 average
  220+ | 10 riders 129,8 average
  230+ | 5 riders 89,6 average

I actually had a superhigh average on 220+, but the last two with Salomao Aranha and Bian Yibin maxed after 77 and 86 training points. Before those two the average was actually 141,9 for me on 220s.

Holwerda Cycling at 12:51 17/2-2023
Thanks, funnliy enough I have also data from 50 trainees. 109,53 is my average. I rarely train such good talents as you. Perhaps a good talent has better chance of maxing high then. Who knows?

Andeby at 12:37 17/2-2023
You probably suck at training then. Which is unfortunate. Better luck next time! If its a consolation, not anyone of the best talents (230+) turned out well.

Holwerda Cycling at 12:16 17/2-2023
  Average training points: 125,82
Really? My average is way lower...
